Disability Awareness

Disability awareness helps organisations create inclusive, supportive and accessible environments for employees, service users and the public. This course explains the legal protections available to disabled people, including the Public Sector Equality Duty, the different forms of disability discrimination, and the barriers that disabled people may face. It also explores impairments, accessibility, reasonable adjustments and the practical steps we can take to promote equality and inclusion in the workplace and society.
