Anti-Money Laundering

Money laundering is the process of concealing the identity, source or destination of illicit funds. It can affect organisations across all sectors and may involve both incoming and outgoing payments, contracts, grants, investments and partnerships. This course explains how money laundering works, the offences and penalties associated with it, and the controls used to prevent it. Learners will discover how to identify red flags, conduct effective third-party due diligence, assess risk, and report concerns to the MLRO or nominated officer.
